Random Selection, Notification and Documentation
ASAP provides random selection and notification services for DOT and non-DOT regulated companies. A scientifically valid method using a computer- based random number generator that is matched with employees’ Social Security numbers or other comparable identifying numbers shall make selection of employees. ASAP maintains complete documentation of all notifications via comprehensive, detailed case notes and customized forms. This information is made available upon request.
Drug/Alcohol Collection, Testing, MRO Review and Results Reporting
ASAP provides collection, testing and verification services to DOT and non-DOT CLIENT employees requiring pre-employment, reasonable-suspicion, post-accident and return-to-duty drug and alcohol testing. Services include: collection site identification and coordination, collection kit shipment and coordination, specimen collection, shipment of samples to the testing laboratory, laboratory supplies, laboratory analysis, and confirmation of positives, MRO review and reporting of test results. A fee will also be charged for each retest/split specimen approved by the MRO and/or the CLIENT. This service does not include random selection, notification and documentation services.
