Drug and Alcohol Trainings
ASAP's professional trainers are ready to deliver consulting and classroom style trainings per Department of Transportation (DOT) regulation 49 CFR Part 382.603 and Part 382.601 (b) (11). ASAP trainings meet all State and Federal guidelines for both DOT and Drug Free Workplace Programs (DFWP) regarding drug and alcohol testing. Our trainings features hands-on exercises, real world scenarios and open discussion forums to provide the best possible learning experience. DOT Mandated 60/60 Supervisory Training (49 CFR Part 382.603)
Per the “required contents” of the information, training, and referral section of the regulations, each employer is required to have all supervisors receive at least 60 minutes of training on alcohol misuse and 60 minutes on controlled substances use. Supervisors are educated on the federal regulations for ‘Reasonable Suspicion’ testing, key regulatory aspects and terminology of the DOT along with developing effective confrontation techniques.
